Your Grace

“There is nothing but God’s grace.  We walk upon it; we breathe it; we live and die by it….”

— Robert Louis Stevenson

Your grace wakes me for early

morning fellowship; You nudge

my heart, and gently prompted

prayer begins; You bring people

to my mind, clarifying needs,

and I sense Your overwhelming

presence as I praise You in

silence and in heart song.

This morning I linger, waiting

for the still, small voice —

to hear more from You,

to know You better,

to settle in adoration before

Almighty God — my mind quieting,

my heart opening, my soul

seeking communion with my

Creator, and I am at peace,

filled with sumptuous joy.
