Cradled by a petal,
surrounded by the tranquil
scent of the most pleasing
roses, I found you here
yesterday and again
when I returned today,
and I find myself surprised —
we rarely stay in such stillness,
lingering in a pleasant space,
but you remind me to dwell,
remain in the goodness
of provision,….So much
more than just stopping
to catch the fragrance,
we are called to rest
in the abundance
