Mumbling

…groanings too deep for words… — From Romans 8:26

Unsettled but ready 

for rest,… she prays, 

but her words 

are muddled, 

and so she rambles, 

knowing God 

can sort

through 

her thoughts, 

decipher

her heart’s need, 

make poetry 

out of her mumbled 

pleas…
