A Painter’s Muse

I would like to paint the way a bird sings. — Claude Monet

The faintest lilac hue,

the slender tendrils,

this delicate, shimmering

flower blooms to woo

those like Monet who search

until they find art just past

a patch of irises,

under a curved bridge,

near calming water,

dancing.
