I would like to paint the way a bird sings. — Claude Monet

The faintest lilac hue,

the slender tendrils, 

this delicate, shimmering 

flower blooms to woo

those like Monet who search 

until they find art just past 

a patch of irises, 

under a curved bridge,

near calming water,
