I have the will to go, to seek, to explore,
to voyage beyond my front door
or marvel creation from my backyard.
I can imagine galaxies beyond
our common stars, wonder
about the depths of nebulas,
and ponder the endless
space that seems to stretch
between those clusters of fire.
I can forgive, trust, surrender,
face grief while grounded by joy,
have faith in the unseen Love
that binds us together, the One
Who made us to become
part of the unending forever —
How can I be anything but thankful?
