Hesitation

I would paint this delicate,

blush-tipped morning rose, 

choose hues to hint

at the satin-sheen

edges of curved petals, 

but I fear the yellow 

will be too bold,

the pink overshadowing —

How can I translate such

rare and nuanced beauty?
