I saw a sign that read,
“Scatter your joy,”
and I believe in that premise.
You can’t hoard joy
because joy can’t be hidden;
it can’t be stored away
in emotion silos for another
day because when joy dawns
the light effuses; joy warms
and grows and fills
every corner, finds and merges
with other joy, lifting, encouraging,
inspiring, becoming worship
in every aspect of our being.
Rejoice! Let us all scatter,
diffuse, pour out what matters
and share our joy today!
