Breathtaking

The light hit

in just the right slant,

rays breaking in,

the blue of the sky

diving into the deeper

amber shades on the far 

horizon and I feel

as if I am at the bottom

of a lake, slowly

being pulled

to the surface,

satisfied to be drowning

in one breathtaking

moment.
