A Silent Rush of Violet

“If a kiss could be seen, I think it would look like violet.”  L.M. Montgomery

The final note at twilight,

a twinkle in the eye,

a moody moon,

the ink I spill

for poetry,

the deepest hue

that drips

from a painted

butterfly’s wing,

and this lovely bloom.
